The Fantastic Four- Part 3- Biopeba

Boipeba is a remote and tropical island that you can only get to by taking a 50 minute speed boat ride. There are no cars or trucks. The only transportation is donkey carts and they carry things in wheelbarrows. Everybody walks and the island is very safe.

Me and my mother took walks in the morning to look at the shells and because it is a remote island, no one had picked up the shells so we got first dibs. We found a large reef with about 50 sand dollars on it. Around the rocky reefs there are lots of fish, so people go spearfishing. One morning we saw a teenage boy come back with 15 large fish that he'd caught spearfishing.

We stayed at Pousada Santa Clara which is run by Charles and his brother. There are 12 cabins and the food there is outstanding! Every night the menu was written on a chalkboard and you got to pick 3 courses. My favorite was the Sole fish with rice. It was fresh, flavorful and juicy.
